I've just spent the past two days watching movies and The Secret Saturdays (one of my fave cartoons) on the couch, sick as a dog with tonsillitis. It hit me the day before my extended family's big Christmas lunch, I missed out on SO MANY DESSERTS (upsetting). 

Anyway I'm still trying to fix my McFreakin computer, now that I made some room Photoshop wont open -_- But its okay I'll get father dearest to take yet ANOTHER look at it.

Uhhh what's new... nothing, really.

I'm getting to that owed art! Been sketching bases and things on paper while I work out this stupid computer's issues.

Hey hey, I'm back from South Africa!

I landed back in Australia on the 11th, only now am I getting over the jet lag :') 
This trip was the most amazing and enjoyable thing I have ever done, it was such a special experience. I am going back to the same conservation group around December next year for a month minimum, two weeks felt more like 2 days, it really wasn't enough. Saw some amazing animals and bugs over there even though it was winter!! Which by the way winter over in South Africa is like, 19-22 degrees celsius, it was so nice and warm compared to Melbourne's shitty winter weather.
I'll probably write up a blog thing or make a virtual diary somehow which'll detail everything I did there. 

I'm trying to get around to finishing my art queue, but for the moment I'm flat out with my studies and work. Sorry again to those who have waited so patiently! I really appreciate your patience. I have found in the past year that I am an extremely busy person, and I'm realising that the busyness isn't going to go away. It's just how my life runs, dawg.

So in saying this, after these prizes, I don't think I'll ever do another contest, I won't enter any (because I can't guarantee I'll get it done), I will take commissions casually but probably no art trades unless I can do it right at that moment.
Art ain't my main focus any more. While I will always continue to create works and improve, it's not my main source of income nor my only hobby. Always having a queue makes it a chore which is annoying too.

One more PSA is I apologise for faving art and not commenting, I don't have the time to tend to my notifications any more. I'm increasingly breaking away from social media so I'm spending less time on all these sites. I'll always have a dA but yeah, I'm just not super active.
